1st prize in the international competition for the destination brand of the Cultural Route "Trilogy of Attica: Elefsina-Athens-Lavrio"

PostScriptum won the 1st prize in the international competition for the destination brand of the Cultural Route "Trilogy of Attica: Elefsina-Athens-Lavrio" on behalf of the Region of Attica by the association DIAZOMA.

Three symbols were joined together in one route: That of the Attica Trilogy.

We share a glimpse of what we've inspired while we prepare to create a distinctive identity for an important historical route.


A few words about the project

The Attica Trilogy is a dynamic initiative that has been developed recently by all the competent bodies and "DIAZOMA", aiming at the design and implementation of an innovative Integrated Spatial Investment Programme for Attica, entitled: "The Attica Trilogy". The archaeological parks of Elefsina and Thorikos (Lavrio) in combination with the main monuments and museums of Athens (Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, Agora, Pnyx, Dionysian Theatre, Eumenes Stoa, Herodion, Archaeological Museum) form a unity that highlights the main aspects of ancient Athens: Elefsina (the Teletistra) and the Sacred Way highlight the mythical, theological, mythical dimension; the monuments of Athens highlight the political, democratic and cultural dimension; and Lavrion, with its silver mines, highlights the technological and economic dimension that financed the great monuments, the political and military power of the Athenian Republic. The programme will aim to improve the quality of the destination product, to attract visitors and to transform Athens from a transit to a destination.
