PostScriptum is undertaking, on behalf of the Μuseum of Asia Minor Hellenism “Filio Chaidemenou” the digitization and online promotion of its collection. The project is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture. This was accomplished after a successful project proposal that was submitted in response to the Request for Proposals for grants from the Directorate of Modern Cultural and Intangible Cultural Heritage. The project is co-financed by the “Global Cultural Institution of the Hellenism of the Dispersion” ‘Andreas Papandreou’, Municipality of N. Philadelphia - N. Chalkidona (P.P.I.E.D.).
Specifically, PostScriptum will undertake the production of the following actions:
• Digitization of 90 cultural heritage objects
• Provision of effective and high-quality collection and museum management by installing an easy-to-learn interfacecollection management system
• Design and development of the online collection in a user-friendly and accessible digital environment, with a strong digital footprint in search engines and related platforms.
• Establishment of new channels of communication for the dissemination of the action
The project aims to promote the collection of the Museum of Hellenism in Asia Minor, which has an important legacy within the history of modern Greek culture. The project will enable the Museum to make its collection widely accessible, thus significantly increasing its online visibility and capitalising digital transformation to create a stronger and deeper connection with its audiences.
