Its aim was to digitally transform the Foundation\u2019s print publication of the same title into a modern, open-access, and interactive cultural product. The project seeks to foster the creation and promotion of high-quality digital cultural content, with a particular focus on winemaking and viticulture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The original print edition\u2014now a collector\u2019s item and no longer available\u2014marked a significant milestone in the publishing history of Greek wine. Dedicated to Santorini wine and the natural and historical richness of the island\u2019s viticulture, it was published in 1994 by the Boutaris Foundation under the direction of the distinguished oenologist Dr. Stavroula Kourakou-Dragona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recognizing the importance of digital transformation in culture and investing in innovative initiatives that enhance the digital dimension of wine, the Boutaris Foundation proceeded with the digitization of the publication. This initiative aimed to make the work openly accessible to the public, contributing to the Foundation\u2019s vision of creating a \u201clibrary-ark\u201d that preserves the history and sustainability of Greek wine through technology and new media. In essence, it connects the cultural heritage of Greek wine with contemporary digital practices of storytelling and knowledge dissemination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PostScriptum, as part of this collaboration, was responsible for drafting and submitting the proposal, as well as managing the funded project. Its role included coordination, monitoring the implementation\u2014carried out by Polyptychon\u2014and facilitating communication among all parties involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project was funded under the Ministry of Culture\u2019s programme \u201cCreative Greece \u2013 Contemporary Culture Grants 2024\u201d, within the framework of the \u201cDigital Culture\u201d call.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"featured_media":2565,"menu_order":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"project_category":[],"project_service":[],"class_list":["post-2550","project","type-project","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
