ECHO II : Open Call for Artists

 Inter Alia seeks for three (3) artists that reside in Greece and work in the fields of painting, sculpture, graphic design, fashion design, craftwork, and mural, to participate in the first three (3) art residencies of the ECHO II: Traditions in Transition project (one artist in each art residency). The artworks produced will be exhibited in the countries of each residence that is Hungary, Bulgaria and North Macedonia.  

In the context of ECHO II, the partnership will organise four (4) art residencies in total. The last art residency will be in Spetses Island (Greece), based on the local traditions inspired by the sea. The last open call for artists and the exact dates of the final art residency will be announced during 2021.  

ECHO II aims at tightening and promoting the link between artistic creation and local traditions, enabling contemporary artistic creation based on cultural elements from different European communities, and with the participation of the following partners:  InterAlia, SferaInternational, ProProgressione, BalkanBeyondBorders, and OpenSpaceFoundation.

PostScriptum participates in the project taking over the digital strategy of the project in order to maximize the digital footprint, aiming at promoting the circulation of the artworks, enabling access to new audiences and at improving capacity building for cultural professionals.
